What do we offer?
During your apprenticeship at HOBUM, you will go through all departments of the company, but you will of course spend your time in our laboratories.
In analytics, you will learn about a wide variety of testing methods: you check whether the raw materials meet our requirements, monitor the reactions in production and determine the parameters for a release for sale. In the event of deviations, you develop solutions together with the team and ensure a smooth process.
In research and development, your ideas are in demand once you have mastered the synthesis techniques: you can contribute to the future of HOBUM and develop new innovative products or participate in publicly funded basic research projects.
All results are recorded and evaluated according to further processing in different systems.
The school education takes place in block lessons (two blocks of 6 weeks / year) at the “Vocational School of Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Agricultural Economics”, BS 06 in Hamburg – Nettelnburg. Practical knowledge is supported and deepened there with theoretical knowledge.
After the apprenticeship, you are guaranteed a one-year transfer through our collective agreement.
What are your skills?
In addition to a high degree of self-motivation, we would like you to be well-organised
self-employed work at least a secondary education qualification or Abitur.
Our achievements in mathematics, chemistry and physics are important to us.
