ChinaCoat 2025 in Shanghai highlighted the growing importance of sustainable and high-performance solutions in the coatings industry – and HOBUM was right at the center of these discussions. Our Managing Director, Dr. René Manski, engaged in inspiring conversations about water-based epoxy hardeners, bio-based polyols, and UV-curable systems – topics that will shape the future of coatings. One key insight: price pressure on bio-based products is increasing in the Chinese market. It creates challenges but also opportunities for greater efficiency and scalability.
